On May 8, 2019, Indiana Governor Eric Holcomb signed bill HB 1015 into law, making it the tenth state in the country to legalize sports betting. The bill allows for both online sportsbooks, and physical sports betting lounges; the first of which was opened in September of 2019. Closely following, the first two online sites – DraftKings Sportsbook and BetRivers showed up in October 2019.
