When New York legalized sports betting in January of 2022, it was an accomplishment for the state that was a long time coming. With neighboring states Pennsylvania and New Jersey each having seen massive returns from online sports betting revenue, it set the stage for New York to join in. Within the first month the state took in almost $2 Billion dollars worth of bets and isn’t seeing it slow down anytime soon.
