Tennessee launched into the sports betting space in November of 2020 as one of the earlier states to join the fray. As of March 2022, there are nine different operators available with more coming to join the lucrative space.

As the transient state continues to scale up in population, Tennessee is an ideal environment for sports betting, with lots of interest at the college and professional level.

On the college level, The University of Tennessee leads the major schools in the state along with the University of Vanderbilt and University of Memphis. At the professional level, there are the Tennessee Titans, Nashville Predators, and Nashville SC as well as the presence of NASCAR at Bristol Motor Speedway. With these local teams as well as the national and European options available, there are plenty of options and places for local residents to turn to.
